Judy Stanton has built a career around serving others. Seeking to understand people and tuning into their wants and needs to expertly meet their goals is a process she finds truly rewarding. Judy got her start in real estate by working at an agency and helping clients relocate in an administrative capacity. She enjoyed the work and independence and was fortunate to have the guidance of her mother-in-law, a REALTOR®, who helped Judy get her start in the business. The majority of Judy’s clients are those looking to sell or relocate, which are her two favorite types of transactions. Her previous jobs as a chemical dependency counselor, a substitute teacher, an administrative assistant for a scientific research institute, and a piano teacher have coalesced to teach her the communication skills and patience that real estate clients require for their unique sets of needs.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Judy has been a resident of the San Francisco Bay Area since 1978. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Salem College in West Virginia and attended the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut for her graduate studies in counseling. Judy values being of service, whether through mentorship or alliances with local organizations such as CoastPride and Coastside Hope or global organizations like Childreach. She believes that we always receive back much more than we give! In her spare time, Judy studies mysticism and pursues her interests in meditation, science fiction, gardening, and of course, her corgis!
